Biography

Sarah Phenix is a photographer based in Santa Cruz, California. She is a self taught analog photographer with over 10 years of experience.
In her photography she utilizes historical research, social commentary, and alternative photographic processes, with an emphasis on tintypes. With these practices she explores the relationship between the collective consciousness and subjectivity, adventuring into realms of nature, intimacy and the subconscious.
